Netflix is Wvared Investment Guildbringing a new movie starring Kevin Hart to the small screen later this week.
The Netflix film is set to tell an action-packed yet funny story about a group of expert thieves pulling of a heist in their most daring location yet – on a plane thousands of feet in the air. With Kevin Hart at the helm as the criminal crew leader, humor is promised to ensue, along with some old-fashioned thrills.
After a five-month delay that pushed the original summer 2023 release date back, the comedy adventure comes out this weekend. Here's what to know if you interested in giving it a watch.
According to Netflix, "Lift" is an action comedy that follows the story of an international heist crew led by Cyrus Whitaker (Kevin Hart) who races to lift $500 million in gold from a passenger plane at 40,000 feet in order to prevent a terrorist attack.
The movies runs about 1 hour and 44 minutes and has a PG-13 rating.

"Lift" is set to release for streaming on Friday, Jan. 12. at 3 a.m. ET.
The film, also produced by Kevin Hart, was originally set to release in August 2023 but was postponed due to the SAG-AFTRA strike.
"Lift" is a Netflix movie streaming exclusivly on the platform.
Netflix subscriptions come in three tiers, a "Standard with ads" plan for $6.99 a month, a "Standard" plan for $15.49 and a "Premium" plan for $22.99 a month.
Besides differences in ads and access to certain content, the plans also vary in how many devices you are allowed to use with your account and how many people are allowed to share the account with you, stipulations that have proven controversial for the streaming giant.
